A varied menu prepared with love, mainly in organic quality, veg-nonveg-vegan,
is only available on special occasions due to the current situation.
Otherwise, we offer a small menu with changing daily specials.

When it gets dark on the mountain top, you can enjoy a glass of your choice while enjoying the Milky Way in the sky or the glittering lights of Freiburg in the distance and the peace and quiet of the mountain. This is really magical...

Group room apartment 47 m²

For smaller groups we offer a bright apartment with 2 rooms ( 26 m² and 14 m² ), with private wheelchair accessible bathroom and kitchenette, tables and chairs for 6-8 persons, sofa bed, as well as yoga mats and pillows for 6 persons.

Feldberg Lounge 90 m²

For larger groups of more than 40 overnight guests (min. of 2 nights stay) with 40 seats at tables, chairs without tables for 60-80 persons, buffet, tea and coffee station.

Conference room Bergstation 120 m²

Your stay will be with us as well as your breakfast. You use the conference room at the Bergstation which is located 700 m from the Berghaus and accessible via the hiking trail. There you will enjoy your lunch and return to our sauna and dinner in the evening.

Winter on Schauinsland is - usually- a white fairytale with magnificent views.

There is nothing more beautiful than being outside, warmly dressed while enjoying the clear winter air and blue skies.  Crunching snow, snow-covered trees and silence in the snowy landscape is the magic of winter, which makes you calm and centred and invites you to listen - listen to your own visions.

In times without snow you can enjoy the numerous hiking trails and the clear air.

Nature is our Spa.

The forest clears the mind. The meadows are a feast for the eyes.

The rocks and mountains make you sweat.

The brooks and lakes are your refreshment.

The hiking paths and trails are a safe system for a Black Forest adventure.

Whether hiking, biking, climbing, rollerblading, swimming or paragliding, the Black Forest offers a very well developed infrastructure and yet you will find solitude and seclusion in every corner.

Campfire stories/songs and barbecue evenings and every now and then a fine concert are definitely part of your holiday in the Berghaus. Loungers in the forest are always ready for a bath of the senses in the forest. Herbal walks, guided tours on foot, by bike or on skis can be found in pure nature.

To deepen your well-being and your perception, we offer yoga classes and meditation  sessions (for all levels).

We have converted our old elevated water tank into a small sauna house.

Two saunas below ground and a light-filled relaxation room above with a panoramic window and terrace, that's what you can look forward to. The sauna house is located next to the house in a Finnish manner, a short walk in a bathrobe makes the anticipation of the warmth grow immensely. Don’t be afraid – it’s really just a short walk. Bathrobe and slippers can be rented from us.
 

Because we love nature and this planet and also our children,

grandchildren and great-grandchildren should still be able to find a good livelihood,

we think about the future.

Our measures to prevent Covid 19 infection:

    Distance rule 1,50m
    well-ventilated rooms
    Our employees wear masks or are protected with face shields.
    We have enough space to set up tables at a distance in the restaurant.
    You can cook in your apartment yourself or order food there.
    Of course we clean and wash thoroughly and disinfect where necessary and possible.

    Hand soap and hand disinfectant as well as disposable towels are available.
